Scholarships

Grayslake Greenery Garden Club (GGGC) is proud of its college scholarship program, which helps provide financial aid to students for the study of horticulture and the environment. Applicants must be pursuing a major in Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Design, Botany, Plant Pathology, Forestry, Agronomy, or Environmental Studies.

Scholarships are typically $500 per student. Selection is made by the GGGC Scholarship Committee. Scholarship funds are paid directly to a student’s School Registrar or Financial Aid Office.

Scholarships are open to any student who resides in Grayslake, IL and/or attends a neighboring community school; specifically, Grayslake Central High School, Grayslake North Central High School, Westlake Academy High School, or College of Lake County. An applicant must be enrolled in or have a letter of acceptance from a 2-year or 4-year college or university with a major as noted above.
